The Redesign
The library reached out to me to create a new logo that establishes their identity in the philatelic community.
This meaning something professional, approachable, and straightforward.
I also got to create and order t-shirt designs for the library to wear to stamp events.
Background
The Northern Philatelic Library is nonprofit library located in Minneapolis, MN that allows stamp collectors to do research on stamps and related topics. They provide local collectors a comfortable place to meet as well as participate in seminars on all things related to stamps.
They also help grow the hobby by providing services to stamp clubs throughout the region.

And the library chose...
Logo 2!
After adjusting the color to a brighter green, the logo was ready!
They enjoyed the approachable feeling of this logo. It feels fun, it feels inviting, and it's easy to digest for someone who may not know what the philatelic world consists of.
They also liked that it feels universal. It sets the library up as not only a library, but also of a social club, which was their goal. They provide much more than the library itself, but also a unique and exciting community for those interested in the philatelic world.
